Jolco, the local distributor of the Asserva solutions in Quebec, recently commissioned the Materneo system in the Porc du Moine farm. Located in Plessiville, this farrow-to-finish family farm of 520 sows
invests in a new building to follow the rules of the Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Pigs, especially regarding the management of the sows in group.
They choose Asserva for their feeding systems in the gestation unit, with the Selfifeeder, and in the farrowing house, with the Materneo, an innovative system to individually manage feed and water intake of the sows.
